EDUC 767: Designing Computer-Based Training
This course introduced the fundamentals of designing an instructionally-sound reusable learning object (RLO) for computer-based training. Instruction emphasized the importance of flow charts and storyboards as effective ways to communicate design ideas while preventing costly changes in advanced stages of development.
Instruction also highlighted SCORM compliance - a key in making a RLO work across multiple learning management systems. Other topics included the continued need for incorporating universal design and accessibility standards in addition to gaining experience in an eLearning software tool of the student’s choice. The RLO featured in this ePortfolio was created using Storyline.

Documents completed in this course include: a Design Document, Storyboard, Usability Test, Reusable Learning Object (RLO) and Reflection Paper.
